Bookings - A 50% deposit is required to confirm all bookings - we accept MasterCard and Visa, or alternatively direct deposit into our bank account. The balance of your holiday fees are payable upon arrival. A security deposit of $150 is required on check-in by credit card or cash to guarantee payment of any incidental charges.

Minimum Stay - A minimum two night stay applies for weekends, and full period over long weekends.
Special Packages - Bookings are limited, packages are subject to availability during peak periods and long weekends. Minimum stay applies as described in the published Package Offers.

Cancellations - Full refund less 10% administration fee will be made for cancellations in writing received more than 30 days prior to arrival. Refunds for cancellations received within 30 days of arrival, or during your stay, will only be made where a replacement booking of equal value is obtained. To assist guests, if no replacement booking is obtained a refund credit (less 10% administration fee) will be made available for guests to use on a future stay at Riverwood Downs within 6 months of the original booking. Rates - All are subject to change without notice.

Riverwood Downs Pet Policy

Our Policy - Riverwood Downs welcomes pets in its Camping Area, Platypus Lodge, Cabins, River Cottage, selected Resort Room accommodation and its special Pet Friendly Restaurant. Subject to it being under your control at all times, you are welcome to take it for walks anywhere on our 750 acre property. In the interests of the comfort and safety of other guests, owners must always pick up droppings after their pets, wrap them, and place them in the rubbish bins provided.

Conditions - Your pet must be under your control at all times - either on or off lead depending upon your pet's training and obedience. Pets must be inside or restrained at night. Pets must not be left unattended in the accommodation/facilities at any time.

Damage or Injury – It is an explicit condition of you bringing your pet to Riverwood Downs that you accept full responsibility for any and all damage or injury caused by or to your pet and that you agree to indemnify Riverwood Downs, its servants or agents, against all actions or claims against it howsoever arising from the actions of your pet whilst at Riverwood Downs.

Disclaimer - Pets are welcome at Riverwood Downs but only at the pet owners risk. Riverwood Downs, its servants or agents accept no responsibility or liability for death, illness, injury or accidents of any kind occurring to pets caused by or as a result of visiting Riverwood Downs.

Owners are fully responsible for the control and behaviour of their pets at all times whilst at Riverwood Downs.

Pets Welcome - Pet Friendly self contained Family Cabins, serviced Riverside Spa Cabins, selected Resort Rooms and Camping are also available for Guests with Pets, extra charges apply.

Book your Horse and Pony Rides and pay before you arrive and we will give you a 10% discount* off each ride! Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.
*This discount is only available for horse and pony rides paid in full prior to arrival. There is a cancellation fee of $20 per person per ride should you cancel or not show for a booked ride.
