The Hunter Valley Scottish Country Dancers - Colleges Class - have been holding a week end dance school, first week end in November every year for for the last 25 years at Riverwood. Facilities are great, staff very friendly and the site relaxing. Could not ask for more.

I have stayed at Riverwood Downs about 10 years ago and I have always remembered what a wonderful and relaxing place it was. I have just booked in again to take my partner Jamie there for his birthday. Jamie is very excited to be going as he has not had a holiday for ages and needs a rest away from the hustle and bustle of work commitments and city life and he was even more excited when he found out that we were taking his favourite mate Buster with us. We look forward to our stay at Riverwood Downs. |

We have just arrived back home from 2.5 blissfully relaxing days at Riverwood Downs. Desperately needing some quite time away and somewhere that was pet friendly was not made difficult thanks to here. The setting is so peaceful and tranquil, plus it gave us a chance to allow our dogs some quality off-leash time which they thoroughly enjoyed. So much so, it was difficult to get them both into the car when we were leaving! The food cooked by Shane was delicious and the friendly and customer focussed nature of both Rebecca and Nicole surpassed many restaurants in Sydney. Plus the fact was we could bring our dogs with us and they had their own menu was definitely a bonus. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work! |

Wonderful, relaxing, quiet, friendly, peaceful, great food, fantastic service,helpful staff I could go on & on & on....We were in dire need of a little R & R over the xmas break and we were smart enough to select Riverwood Downs to chill out. Many thanks to the friendly staff who helped to create such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our dog, Murray, enjoyed the experience as well. Keep up the good work.

I checked out this website and recently camped the weekend. I'll be back as soon as possible - great staff, an easy drive, beautiful countryside all make for a top weekend away. Wow! Just stayed on their new Exclusive Midweek Mountain Escape Package. It was truly a week to remember. The staff, the scenery & bird life, it was so easy to spend the week sitting in the sun reading my book! Real value for money holiday. We'll be back with the Grand Kids, for our family Reunion weekend in November.

Just returned from a cold June long weekend camping. Although we experienced all types of weather conditions from rain to wind to sunshine we had an absolute ball, the property is absolutely beautiful. There were no worries about letting the kids explore by them selves (come to think of it I didn't see any of them all weekend). The horse riding was well suited to all level riders (thanks Dusty) and the scenery was just amazing. Thanks again..and you will see us again in the summertime so we can experience the river.

My people and I had the absolute best time last week! The camp sites were fantastic, and are the most generous in size my owners have seen in over 20 years of camping! We all had one of the best holidays in memory; the wonderful meals from the restaurant and the kiosk, the swimming, the bushwalks, the scenery, the night stars, the fantastic staff, the solitude and also the company (when all those extra puppy dogs turned up near the weekend)! We really didn't want to go home! Can't wait to get back again soon, This place has it all! Lots of thanks,
